Emerging from the ashes of violence and tragedy is the beautiful country of Armenia. With its complicated history and the dark episodes, the blemish, one would be most surprised to find some of the world’s most pristine landscapes and friendliest locals here in this once-restive country. While parts of its border with Azerbaijan can be dangerous, much of Armenia is ideal for hiking and a range of outdoor activities.
