Shanghai Airlines is a Chinese airline which is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airline. The airline was China's first commercial airline which had multidimensional investment funded by the Shanghai municipal government and Shanghai local enterprises. Shanghai Airlines became the 19th member of Star Alliance in 2007. After the merger with China Eastern Airline, Shanghai Airlines became an affiliate to the SkyTeam alliance. Travel Class

Business Class: Passengers are allowed to take one hand baggage and one check-in bag for domestic flights and two check-in bags for international flights. First Class: Passengers are allowed to take one hand baggage and one check-in bag for domestic flights and three check-in bags for international flights. The guests get access to convertible seats and exclusive cabin with a TV screen, duvet and a pillow. The guests can enjoy a scrumptious meal and relax with the amenity kit, slippers and pyjamas provided on board. Passengers are allowed to carry hand baggage which can weigh up to 10 kgs and the check-in bag can weigh up to 20 kgs for Super Economy and Economy Class, 30 kgs for Business Class and 40 kgs for First Class on domestic flights.
